Wake Up Sid - As I See It

It is a clean cute movie with lots of laughter, fun, Love and a little bit thinking. In a line, story of a nonsense guy becoming serious and winner in life. But there is more to it...

The mother-son relation in the movie is touching. How many times we might have told mom, not to disturb me, leave me alone, do not touch my stuff, stop being English etc etc... ( I am sure if we won't, our mom will remember the count ;) ) And the mom always wants to be the son's friend, and tries too. Even when he is staying away she is worried about him and caring, by sending mangoes and all. She knows what he likes and she is there to make it.

We all want to be independent, try to do something new, become mature and serious about life, have a job which we enjoy, love and all. But how to get there, or even worse what exactly we want, we hardly give a thought. Try to find what we exactly wants to do, and the rest will follow.

The sea is a character in the movie. When it was said that the people love sea because whatever around them changes, it remains the same. When we lost in the changes or schedules, the sea is there, same and always calming. I always found sea fascinating. May be this was the reason...

Girls are girls - they make decisions fast and never change it. ;) Stubborn ! And it was cute to see the guy who never kept his bed clean helping his friend to make her house. Right from finding one to fill it, to paint it, arrange it. Even though the decision to choose that house was against his wish! That is friendship. Be with the other one, even though you are not agreeing, and you know that your friend trust it.

The way he celebrates her birthday - the bread-jam-cake ! Silly yet lovable.

What made this movie special is the way the story unfolds. A careless guy becoming serious. Being independent, got an aim. Yes, we have seen this in Lakshya earlier. But what made it different is that not only he gets serious by time, but also realises his dream. He does what he enjoys. And the best part of it, he got a company - a friend, who lovingly gives him side in every step. Don't you wish you got someone to guide you, correct you and more importantly inspire you. Whom you will call first to share your victory, happiness, anger, frustration.

I liked that part the most. Someone, so special to make every step count. Make life, every breath meaningful. Though it is not said in the movie, but being together and complements each other. I believe, only two totally different people can be together happy. And this movie supports it ;) The more the differences, the more fulfilling life is... So unexpected every day will be...

Afterall, who wants a serious life, let's spend it simple, fun.
